Bell Ringer: Create name tags fold the index card hamburger style.
Write just your FIRST name.

Miss W will collect signed syllabi, signed AUP forms, and $10.00 business fees as you watch a short video about NC and MSITA.

Guided Lesson:
1.Create a live.com login needed for the MSITA class.
2.Go to http://www.live.com
3.On your tiny index card WRITE DOWN the following information.
live id: first three letters of your last name, your first name, MSITA@hotmail.com
(for example Jane Smith's id would be smijmsita@hotmail.com
password: your choice

EVERYONE will create a new school appropriate live id.
This email will be printed on all of your certificates, which is why it needs to be school appropriate.

4. Complete the questions, uncheck the email option and then click on I accept.
5. Go to http://www.live.com and sign in.
6. Give Miss W your small index card with your login information.
7. Go to your personal file (lunch room number) under my computer and delete any files you do not need.

Depending on the time we will either begin to Navigate through Digital Literacy Module 1 Computer Basics or finish the Pre-test.

Everyone is going to do the 1st through 3rd modules. Unit 3 Productivity Programs is a great introduction to our class. You may need to do the 4th and 5th module before trying to get the Digital Litercy certificate.
