Wed, Feb 6- Step 6 Content through Step 7 Graphics

Bell Ringer:
1. Open up your Typing Word document
2. Look at the picture on the top of page 20 to see which fingers to use for the V key.
On page 20 and type line 4 and 5 and 6.

Guided Practice:
@Miss W will review the correct finger placement for the V keys.
@ Miss W will model the 10 steps to use to develop a PowerPoint presentation.
@Students will help each other during the skills practice.

Students are turning in their decision for which ACADEMIC topic (LanguageArts, Science, Social Studies, Health or Math) they want to create a short PowerPoint presentation during this week's class.

Step 7- Add and format graphics, audio and video

Bellringer:
1. Pull out all of your keyboard typing papers
    your crayon colored keyboard and your name tag
2. Open your typing file and
    On page 8 type line 6 and
on page 9 type line 10 and line 14

3. Put your keyboard typing papers in the correct order.
    Starting with QWERTYUIOP

    then ASDFGHJKL; then ZXCVBNM,./

What are we learning today?
Keys H, E, O 
Muscle Memory-
when you practice often

you can do things automatically without thinking about it,
like playing video games, riding a bike or typing.
 
BRING IN YOUR BLUE PAPER SIGNED.
If brought in today, you will get a 95.
If brought in on Wednesday, you will get a 90.


Guided Practice:
Students will go to the media center
and practice typing the most commonly typed words.

Independent Exercise:
8th Grade students
