Friday, Dec 13th 8th Grade- Sorting and Comparison Operators

Bell Ringer:

n page 348, type lines 3 and 4.

2. If your name is on the board, finish your Query study guide.

What are we learning? 
How is database information used, organized, and managed in business? 
What formatting options are available when creating databases?

 
Guided Practice:
@ Miss W will review how to create a lookup data type.

@ 1st period- Open your Income Database and finish it.
@ 2nd period- Will start the Income Database and finish it.


Independent Exercise:

@ Students will create a new database called "income"
@ Gender, Numberofchildren, and MaritalStatus fields need the lookup data type.

@ Miss W will do an example on the Determining Sort Order worksheet, the Part 2 Ascending or Descending List and Question 6. Not Equal to on the Understanding Operators worksheet.
@ Students want to CAREFULLY answer questions because they will need to add wrong questions with the correct answers to their study guides.


If time:
Students will complete the notes section the Understanding Operators worksheet.
