Bell Ringer:
Decide which Jeopardy team you want to be on. Five people per team.
Students will complete and print out marketing study guides and any other unfinished work.
Review PowerPoint 3.01 and 3.02 for the Jeopardy game.
The following items were the most commonly missed items.Remember the difference between selling and promotion.
Selling is communicating DIRECTLY <(face to face or by phone or internet chat)with potential customers to determine and satisfy their needs.
Promotion is communicating information about products and services INDIRECTLY to customers by advertising on television, newspaper, internet, coupons, etc.

Guided Exercise:
Students will play a Marketing Jeopardy game to get ready for Tuesday's vocabulary test.
Notes from PowerPoint 4.01 Financial Planning will be reviewed. Students will learn how to judge how a business is doing financially by understanding how to use the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on equity ratio and net income ratio.
Independent Exercise:
Students will compete in the Smartboard ratio contests.
Students will complete the ratio exercises.
