Learning Goal: Understand the concepts to Review and Share Documents and Clarify the different ways to View a Word Document
BellWork:
1. Sign in to MSITA http://itacademy.microsoftelearning.com/ and sign in
2. There is going to be a classwork grade on the exercise at http://www.quia.com/rr/831438.html?AP_rand=1877175437 It is open notes and you can use a Word document to find the correct answer. Each of the 15 questions are worth 7 points. (so if you get 14 right you get 98 and if you get 15 right you get 100) Hint: If you do not get at least 13 right you will be coming to the next tiger time to practice. Once you get them right, minimize until Miss W checks it.
3. Do flashcard question 4Q. Go to Student Docs then MSITA then BellRinger folder. Write the question and answer key on the flashcard. Be sure to put Q4 on it and your name.
Guided Exercise:
Miss W will review the instructions for the Literacy Worksheet Exercise.
Independent Exercise:
1. Student will work on understanding the vocabulary of the Viewing Documents worksheet. Go to Student Docs then MSITA then Word then you will see the Viewing Documents worksheet. The sentences are highlighted and the vocabulary words are in red. Determine the meaning of the word either through the sentence or go to Google and look up the definition.
This is a Core Literacy exercise that stress the Craft and Structure standard "Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text, including vocabulary specific to domains related to the content area," with the Viewing Documents worksheet.
2. Students will finish the Enhancing Doc worksheet check list
3. Students will start the Reviewing and Sharing check list.
Miss W will check student labs and answer questions.
