Monday, May 6- Finish Animation Projects

Bellringer:
1. click on the Alice program-The Alice button/icon has a girl's face on it.
click "run" and open your Alice program. (you MUST OPEN Alice 1st)

2. On page 154 type the blue #3 at the bottom of page:
3. Record and compare your search results. Did you reduce the number of results? When a Web page interests you, you can create an electronic bookmark by clicking
the Bookmark or Favorite command. The bookmark makes it easy to quickly return to a web page in the future.
4. Open up a new Word document and type your name

Guided Lesson
Things to remember:
1. If you need help ask your neighbor first.

2. We will be watching these animations as a class, Miss W really wants to
see all of your creative ideals but she has to help ALL students, so please
don't ask Miss W to watch your video early
. If she is watching your video she
can not help another student. 
3. When you are finished make sure you
REVIEW the RUBRIC listed below.
Check your SPELLING AND GRAMMAR.

You can be a helper or you can work on the additional typing
assignment on page 155.
4. You need to make the speech durations one second per word
because Edmodo speeds up the videos.
5. Remember to make the title you go to 3D text,
then move it up 10 meters for 10 seconds.
6. To bring the arms down, (see paper at desk)
You roll the right arm right 0.2 and you roll the left arm left 0.2
7. To "hold" something you need to go to the Properties tab
and use the vehicle option- remember to go back to Methods tab
8. To move to a different scene use the camera controls and the move method
9. As you work make sure you SAVE to your lunch number

Independent Lesson:
Use your storyboard to create your animated story
Animation Rubric
A. 10 points- storyboard with your name and 9 scenes
B. 20 points- 3d text title and student name (or billboard with title)
and the title moves off of the screen slowly
C. 10 points- characters/animals move
D. 20 points- a specific part is moved (like a hand or leg etc.)
E.10 points-two methods at once (use the do together purple button)
F.10 points - there are word bubbles
G.10 points-the timing is slow enough to read the words
H.10 points-spelling is correct and grammar is correct
There are no texting symbols.
