1. Always "preview" a document by looking at the Titles and pictures. Let's look at the article "Importance of PowerPoint Skills" (click on link) What is the main title? What are the 3 subtitles? What do you think the article is going to be about? Ask yourself what do you ready know about the topic, PowerPoint? Name 5 things you know about PowerPoint. 2. You may work in groups of 2 BUT each student must complete the questions.
3. Look up any words you do not know. When you go to http://www.google.com type the word
For example question number one says to look at DEFINITION and the word you want to look up. the word “synonymous” on Google and write the definition. You would type “definition synonymous”. Some words have more than one definition so you need to check that it makes sense in the article’s sentence.
4. On a new piece of paper or on a Word document
answer the 21 questions on the Green sheet. Notice that the questions give you the paragraph, where you can find the answers. |

Show the sub you have completed the sheet then put it in your folder in the crate. 7. Then help other students get to the correct location. |
