October 13 Business and Finance

BellWork:
Since we will be talking about technology and business today, we are going to skip

Bellwork:
1. Make sure you are finished with yesterday's bellwork. You should have the following project questions answered OR you are behind! :( Questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 22, and 23 should be finished. Work on those questions if they are not complete.

Today's project question is number 5. Review pages 318 to 325. Look at your yellow paper visual aids. This question is worth the most points. TAKE YOUR TIME! It is ok if you do not finish this question today!!!!!!

Explain the Production Process for your product. What are the steps?
What forms of production are needed- extraction & cultivation, processing, and/or manufacturing? Explain does it use mass production, custom production, continuous material processing and/or intermittent processing


Guided Instruction:
1. Discuss Bellringer instructions.
2.Show where 2.04 Technology PowerPoint is on My Computer then Student Docs$ then Principles of Business folder then POBN_2.04
3. We will discuss notes 1 through 10.
4. We will watch a short video showing how many businesses are using technology. Computer Assisted Technology is demonstrated by a video about machines and Joint Replacement Surgery at http://www.ohiohealth.com/body.cfm?id=384&action=detail&ref=747
5. We will discuss e-commerce

Independent Exercise:
1. Continue with Project.
2. Teacher will discuss questions 12 through 14 as a class activity
