Guided Lesson:
We are going to finish our notes about the different types of corporations and then apply the concepts to figure out which business types are best for the scenarios in the lesson.

Read the "Siblings Taste Success" Article http://www.csmonitor.com/2001/0207/p13s1.html You may work in groups but everyone needs to write the answers on their worksheet.

Students will use their notes and textbook to decide what types of ownership would be best for the scenarios below. Students will work in pairs or by themselves to complete the business ownership scenarios at http://www.econedlink.org/lessons/docs_lessons/533_Sweet_Opportunities.pdf There could be more than one right answer! These are real life scenarios of famous companies. See if you can guess the candy companies?

Independent Exercise:
You will work on the franchise exercise at http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchise500/index.html
