Learning Goals:
Continue with short Intermediate lesson on Inserting and Formatting a Chart
Bellringer 6 and 7

Bell Ringer:
1. Open a new tab and go to the Microsoft Academy site http://itacademy.microsoftelearning.com/ AND sign in with your live id and password.

Announcements:
Another Career Booth Opportunity for Manufacturing jobs and many Community Colleges is coming this Friday. Get 2 points toward your lowest test grade by stopping by a booth and getting a coupon.

Tiger Time this Friday
Anyone, who did not do good on either the Vocabulary test or the CFA, will come to tiger time this Friday to review test questions. Anyone, who is behind, will come to tiger time this Friday.

Guided Lesson:
Students will receive instructions on how to create a Spreadsheet Vocabulary Presentation by inserting text boxes and shapes.

Scroll down to the section called "Identifying the Parts of a Chart" and use the interactive section to learn about the different parts of a chart.

The definitions for data table and data labels are on the worksheet

Students will receive one on one assistance as needed as they work througn the e-learning modules.

Independent Lesson:
A. ALL students (will start with Bellringer 6 and 7 and minimize your answers when finished (don't forget to make flashcards)

B. Students will work in pairs and choose a Spreadsheet topic to present to the class.

C. While you are waiting for everyone to get their presentation ready you will start on the Spreadsheet "Chart Elements Vocabulary Exercise". Labeling the 7 elements (title, legend, x-axis horizontal, y-axis vertical, gridlines, data labels, and data table)of a chart.

D. Students will give their Chart presentations.

E. ALL students will then do the Intermediate lesson on Inserting and Formatting a Chart. When Miss W checks your work for Lab 4, she will also check Bellringers.

(We are waiting to start the Intermediate Project mentioned on your worksheet until more students are finished with the Beginning Projects)

You have until Friday after tiger time to have the 2nd project finished and to receive full credit.

Miss W will check Beginning PowerPoint work.
Make sure you review your Project work.
Once you tell Miss W you are finished and she starts to check it all grades are final.

Homework: Business fees of 10.00 are due or a waiver needs to be returned.
