Wednesday, Feb 20- Part 10 Revise, Add Audio, & Convert to Video

Bell Ringer:
1. Open up your Typing Word document
2. On page 33 type lines lines 18 and 19

10 Step Procedure for developing a PowerPoint presentation
3.1 Know the Design Principles
3.2 Know your Target Audience

Guided Practice:
@ Miss W will model the 10 steps to use to develop a PowerPoint presentation.
@Students will help each other during the project.

For students working on the Health project:

You should be FINISHED with:
1. Content on 9 to 10 slides with citations if needed (Worth 50%)
2. Pictures or clip art on all slides with citations if needed
3. Transitions and animations on each slide
4. All of the pink skills from #4 until #32 are on your PowerPoint
Check each note pane for numbers 4 to 32 and circle on your PINK sheet

5. Green design sheet- review all design choices (font size, colors, picture size, etc.)
6. Green design sheet- review all spelling and grammar of EACH SLIDE
7. Sign in to Edmodo.com join Group       DCLY4o
8. Finish all of the work above.
9. Write your name on the board under "Helpers"
10. We will do skill 33 together.

Today's activity:
1. Everyone open a NEW PowerPoint. Insert 3 slides. Add a clip art image to each slide.
2. We will all learn how to record video together.

  • Slide Show Tab then Record Slide Show then Start Recording
  • You may "clear" if you don't like recording
3. We will all learn how to save as a video together.
  • File then Save and Send then create a video
4. We will all delete the "practice" video.
5. If you have completed your EDITS, then you will record audio and save as a video.
6. Add your attachment to the correct place on Edmodo.

    Remember to type your name and topic in the reply box.
