What Are We Learning Today? There is a Spreadsheet project coming up.
You will be practicing the skills
you need two to three times before the project.
Some of the skills are the flashcard skills and some of the skills are
understanding formulas and functions, which we will be starting this week.  
You will be receiving a classwork grade on your car lot file.


Winners of the PowerPoint Project Vote will be announced!
Guided Lesson: Review flashcards with “practice formatting” file.

New Skills:
Skill 1: Sort ascending
            (Home tab- sort and filter button)

Skill 08- removes duplicates
           (Data tab click on remove duplicates and then sort)

Previous Skills:
Skill 7- format table any color, (Home tab- format as table arrow)


Sorting
Make sure you have chosen a "Format as Table" style.
Click on the sort arrow by the price.
We are going to sort the most expensive car.
We are going to sort for the least expensive car.
Click on the sort arrow by the miles.
We are going to sort the car with the most miles.
We are going to sort the car with the least miles.

Skill 13- data bars on price column any color,    
        
(Home tab- Conditional Formatting button)
Skill 23- change color of tabs,
        (Right click on tab, click on change color, choose color)

Skill 31 formatting cells- change price column to currency            
        (highlight prices, then click on number format arrow)

Independent Activity:
Open car lot file and add the following items to your file.
Make sure you save. Look above for directions.

Skill 7- format table any color,
Skill 13- data bars on price column any color,

Skill 23- change color of tabs,
Skill 31 formatting cells- change price column to currency


Exit activity:Complete any missing work.
