@ Test on Friday, January 10th on Unit 6.01 Employability & Unit 6.02 Seeking Employment @ Review for End of Course test on Mon, Jan 11th and Tues, Jan 12th @ End of Course Test on Wed, Jan 13th OR Thurs, Jan 14th @ All assignments due by Thursday, Jan 14th @ Miss W will explain "What is the difference between an interest, a skill, an ability and an aptitude?" and give instructions for the two daily assignments. 1. Students will complete the Interest Assessment at www.careerzone.ny.gov by following the directions in the 6.01 Employability PowerPoint and answer the 6.00 Assess Yourself worksheet questions. 2. Besides each of the job (occupations) you need to write a SHORT definition of the job. You can use the "TASK" descriptions to help you. 3. In front of each job description: Write P if the occupation deals with People Write I if the occupation deals with Information Write T if the occupation deals with Technology 4. Why millennials have a tough time landing jobs - CNBC.com http://www.cnbc.com/2014/03/28/why-millennials-have-a-tough-time-landing-jobs.html Read the article. Circle 2 items you find interesting or that you did not know. What is one positive ability that millennials have? What are two negative or bad things that millennials do during a job interview?
