Learning Goals: Self-assess progress on Beginning PowerPoint Module

Bell ringer:

Students will access their e-learning accounts by going to http://itacademy.microsoftelearning.com BEFORE CLASS STARTS.

Work on September Prompt. When most students are finished with the September prompt we will place them on the web.

When you are finished with your Sept Writing prompt AND Miss W. has seen it and graded it, you will make corrections to it. Once you have revised it and removed your last name; you will use the File tab (backstage view) to "Save and Send." You will first save to the Web (your skydrive) and second you will click on the "create a link" link on the right of the page. Third, you will choose the option that says "Everyone can see". You will email Miss W at ewitkowski@randolph.k12.nc.us the link. A link will look like this: https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=3e747b56928871bd&resid=3E747B56928871BD!106&authkey=0hea!FRduLA%24 Fourth, you will email your link with your name as the subject to ewitkowski@randolph.k12.nc.us

Guided Exercise: Miss W will model the last 20 of 50 skills students should learn from the Beginning PowerPoint Lesson Module

Independent Exercise: Students will practice the 50 skills on their own and demonstrate their proficiency to Miss W when they are ready. Students will complete Module 1. Students will work on the September prompt and revise it for web publication. Students, who finish Module 1 today, will work on a sharing links PowerPoint project or be peer tutors.

Self-Management: Students will self-assess their progress in the first unit. They will learn how to utilize a classroom assignment checklist.
Up to date- all missing work completed
September writing prompt completed- prompt is finished, graded by Miss W, last name is removed, correction of mistakes, uploaded to skydrive and link sent to Miss W
E-learning- all five labs are finished and all five unit modules are read
Skills sheet- you practiced the skills that are difficult for you
Ending Items - you have completed the Window labeling exercise, Vocabulary exercise and are ready for the vocabulary test and the skills test.
