Friday, Apr 26- 1st try at Digital Literacy Certification

Bellringer:
1. Do NOT sit at a seat where the printer does not work!!!!

2. On page 136, type lines 1, 2, 3 and 4.

What are we learning:
1.3 Productivity Programs
Take the Microsoft Digital Literacy Certification test.
Create new folders.
Learn about binary code.

Guided Lesson:

We have covered 66% of the Digital Literacy material.
There are 30 questions on the certification exam and
we have covered 20 of the questions.


Today, we will take the Microsoft Digital Literacy Certification test.
If you pass, you will get a 100 for the grade (no matter what your score is)
and have a choice
after we finish the animation unit of continuing with the
animation lessons or with the class Digital Literacy lessons


If you do NOT pass, you will continue with the class Digital Literacy
lessons and retake the test for a grade before the end of the semester.


Independent exercise: Take the Digital Literacy Certification test.

Students will go to http://www.microsoft.com/about/corporatecitizenship/citizenship/giving/programs/up/digitalliteracy/eng/curriculum3.mspx
and scroll down to where it says Digital Literacy Certification Test
and click on launch Digital Literacy certification test
They will take the digital literacy certification test.

When you are finished STOP do not close out of the program window!!!


Exit Activities:

1. Let Miss W know when you are finished and
if you pass she will print your certificate.
