Tues, April 9 Begin MS Digital Literacy Unit

To type the $ you hold down the shift key and choose the upper 4
On page 72 type lines 8, 9 and 10
EVERYONE needs a pencil or pen!!

What are we learning?
We are learning to navigate through The Basic Computer's e-learning unit

Objectives: 1.5 Digital Lifestyles and 1.1 Introduction of Computers

Guided Practice:

Go to Student Docs, Go to the Witkowski folder,
Go to the Digital Literacy Folder, Open the PowerPoint called

Things to remember when working through an e-learning


Accessing and Understanding the e-learning unit

A. Click on this link http://www.microsoft.com/about/corporatecitizenship/citizenship/giving/programs/up/digitalliteracy/eng/curriculum3.mspx

B. Scroll down to the blue bar that says Computer Basics

C. Click on the Launch e-learning link

D. Allow pop ups from the Microsoft site (look for yellow bar on top of page)

E. Miss W will play the 1 minute Navigation Overview video with the loud speakers. 

F.  In the Course Information section,
      we will practice clicking on the different Information topics.


G. Help your neighbor :)

1. Put your name on the Blue sheet. Do NOT lose it or you will need to begin again.

2. We will complete as a group “The Role of Computers” e-learning section.

3. Blue sheet questions 1 through 8 will be answered.
