Wednesday, May 1- Start Animation Project

Bellringer:
1. Go to your zenworks box,
click on the Alice program
The Alice button/icon has a girl's face on it.
You will need to minimize and click "run."

2. On page 153, type the words in the Operator column:
And, Or, Not, Quotes "" and Title

and type the words in the Keyword column that
are highlighted in yellow.
3. NEW Internet sign on- Look on paper at your desk.
Once you are finished with typing, Miss W. will help you if needed.

What are we learning?
1.5 Digital Lifestyles- Animation
5.2. Identify different career opportunities available for a person who is computer literate.

2.5 Format Tables

Guided Lesson:
Announcement about new Internet sign on procedure starting on Wednesday.
We will create add to the Boolean Operators table
We will learn how to animate using a drop and drag interface.
Miss W will facilitate a group lesson to learn the basics such as

adding titles and moving the camera.
The grading rubric will be explained.

Animation Rubric
A. 10 points- storyboard with your name and 9 scenes
B. 20 points- 3d text title and student name (or billboard with title)
and the title moves off of the screen slowly
C. 20 points- characters/animals move
D. 10 points- a specific part is moved (like a hand or leg etc.)
E. 10 points-two methods at once (use the do together purple button)
F. 10 points - there are word bubbles
G. 10 points-the timing is slow enough to read the words
H. 10 points-spelling is correct and grammar is correct
There are no texting symbols.


Independent Lesson:
Students will finish working on their storyboard for a simple animation project

and start animating. .
Homework: Think about a story you wish to animate.
