Words are aligned to the left. Numbers are aligned to the right.



Bell-Ringer/Connecting Strategy


1. Go to wclassroom.blogspot.com


2. Open  6 Creating Table and Formatting Tables 


3. Open a NEW Word Document
    by going to Applications then Microsoft Office then Word


4. Do Exit Activity 2- You may work in pairs

5. Then get out your ORANGE PAPERS

- Double Space

- Create a table of 1 Row  and 4 Columns

- Double Space

- Create a table of 4 Rows and 2 Columns

- In the First Table- Add appropriate clip art pictures and size them to fit the table

- In the Second Table- Place the Title and the word Pictures in the first row

- Bold and Center the items in the first row

- In the first column type a vocabulary word in each of the cells

- TEST your pictures to make sure they fit in the second column

- CHECK SPELLING

For the question: what are the vertical and horizontal lines in a table.
The correct answer should be gridlines,
but they put rows and columns
Choose rows and columns to continue with the game.

Also remember the Dollar sign $ is placed on the first item in the column.
You do not need it on each entry.
