Most common mistakes: are and our their and there which and witch not using capital letters for proper nouns or at beginning of sentences using commas- tacos, lettuce, onions Bill's book- means the book belongs to Bill not reading it (duplicate words and duplicate sentences) words spelled wrong leaving words out of the sentence fragments instead of sentences nouns and verbs agreeing They have a truck He has a truck @ Students should practice reading their Executive Summary out loud. They should be able to pronounce all of the words easily. Students will be turning this paragraph into their 30 second sales pitch. |
