Candy Questions-
Pet example- review of all database relationships

Many-to-Many – when multiple records from both (or more) tables are linked.  A Many-to-many relationship is actually two one-to-many tables that are connected by a junction table.

Car example- many to many database relationship

Studios like Warner Brothers, Dream Works, 20th Century Fox make many movies per year.
Some studios may work together to make a movie, this is because it is expensive to film a movie.
The Towering Inferno. The production budget was so high that nobody wanted to finance it. Irwin Allen (the producer) talked two major studios - 20th Century Fox and Warner Brothers - into each financing half the movie. Of course both studios got credits.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsRnQQpklPM

Lesson Reflections

Answer to Candy Questions:
What is referential integrity for a database?
Referential Integrity protects related data that is stored in multiple tables. Referential Integrity would prevent a customer in a customers table from being deleted if the customer’s ID also appears in the order table. If you do not have correct referential integrity your database can be hacked.
Name one company that has been hacked for credit card data or other information?
Target                                    Staples                       P.F. Changs                   UPS
Blue Cross                            KMart                          Neiman Marcus             Google
Chick-fil-a                              Dairy Queen               Michaels                        Apple icloud
Sony (emails)                        Jimmy John’s            AT & T            and many more...
