Homework:
Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.

Students will use PowerPoint for a feature scavenger hunt.
Closure Strategy
Exit Activity#1: Home Row Practice
Students will practice touch typing the home row keys
with a game called HomeKeys Kennys.        
Remember- Do NOT look at the keys while playing.

Exit Activity #2: QWERTY Keyboard and Posture Practice
Play until you win a million dollars.
Hint: GWAM is General Words A Minute, it is also called WPM Words Per Minute
Hint: The little finger is also called the semi colon finger

Practice on the beginner level (#1 home row keys) at http://www.freetypinggame.net/play11.asp
Choose beginner if you are in the beginner category
Choose intermediate if you are in the average category
