Review of 10 steps:
Step 5 Edit the master slide
Step 6 Add Content
Step 7 Add and format graphics, audio and video
Step 8 Add animation and transitions.
Step 9 Practice
Step 10 Revise as needed

create a 1 slide presentation on "You" Include:
your name, things you like (tv, video games, hobbies, sports)
USE the concepts we learned like contrasting colors, etc.
Narrative Purpose (to broadcast messages, tell a story or entertain)
Rubric-
It is worth 50 points
10 points Narrative Purpose (to broadcast messages, tell a story or entertain)
2 points off for spelling mistakes
5 points off for contrast mistakes
2 point off if you don't use proper citation for image
 You are allowed 1 picture the rest of the images are clip art
2 points off if you don’t have words size 24 or larger

Independent Exercise:

  and in teams CAREFULLY answer the questions. You will need to write out the ones you miss.

@ We are going to review the rubric for the narrative presentation (purple paper).

@ We are starting Narrative PowerPoint project (storyboard)
  1. The purpose is narrative. It is a story about me.
  2. The target audience is other students.
  3. On the back of the purple paper storyboard your six slides.
  4. Select a design.

Homework:
Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.
