Tues, Aug 27th- 7th Grade: Team Work- What make a good team?

Welcome to Miss Witkowski's Computer Skills and Applications class

Bellringer:
Think about a football team, a cheerleading team or a team of doctors.
On a piece of paper,
write down what makes a good team OR write down what make a bad team.
If you get stuck talk with other students on your row.

Objective: Help students work in teams and develop leadership qualities.

Guided Lesson:

• Discuss the common exam pretest (does NOT count as grade)
• Explain why teams are important in the business world.
• Review the Team Work PowerPoint and explain the Group Exercise.
• Let students choose teams of two students per team.

Group Exercise:
Students will use their problem-solving skills to complete a solve a puzzle challenge.

Exit Activity:
After the puzzle challenge students will complete the Teamwork Worksheet.
If there is time, students will compare and contrast their answers.
If there is not time, students will review answers on Wednesday.
