We are using our left INDEX finger for the 4  key.

@ Open the Field Property- Input Mask PowerPoint in the Database folder.
@ Go to your INN database.
@ Miss W will walk you through setting up a phone number input mask.
@ Miss W will show you a 2nd way to get to the Design View (right click on table name.)

Independent Exercise:
@ Students will create a zip code input mask.

at the top of the page write:
Record- a group of related fields of information

Memo- like text, but maximum of 64,000 characters

Lookup wizard- allows you to create a finite (limited) set of choices for that field’s entry values.

Entry- data and formulas keyed in a field

We are going to practice inserting the following FUNCTIONS or shortcuts:
Sum- adds all of the numbers in a range
Max- finds the largest number in a range
Min- finds the lowest number in a range
Average- calculates the average of a range of numbers
Count- counts the numbers of entries in a range

-  Choose 6 careers from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math page.
-  Fill in your worksheet for the following categories:
Occupation
Minimum
Education
Growth
Outlook
Current
Workers
Salary
Entry
Job Description
  You only need to write the first sentence in the job description blank.
  -  Choose one of the 6 careers and create a PowerPoint.
  # The first slide should have your name and occupation and a picture with a citation.
  #  Look at the ENTIRE job description. Have one or more slide for each sentence.
      You may copy and paste job description sentences.
  #  You need at least 6 slides including the title page.
  #  Find interesting pictures about that occupation and have one picture per slide with
      the proper citations.
  #  Save to your lunch number.
