I can gather data for a database.
TEST ON TUESDAY
Students can collect information for a database.


Literacy/Vocabulary Strategies (Word Wall)
Filter/Query- looks for items with a specific criteria (item you are looking for)
It filters out (takes out) what you are not looking for.

Bell-Ringer/Connecting Strategy
On page 25, type lines 13 and 14.
Remember to use your thumb for the space bar.
We are using our left INDEX finger for the G key.
Make sure you use the shift keys to capitalize the words!

Guided Practice:
@ Miss W will review sorting definitions- ascending and descending
@ Students will practice sorting with their flight database
@ Students will participate in the connector AND and OR activity

Study for test:
@ Students will correct page one of worksheet
@ Students will open up the Database Test 1 PowerPoint
@ Students will practice exit activity number 11 individually for Tuesday’s test
@ Students will complete the upper half of page two of worksheet

Homework- Extra Credit for 3rd test:
Ask your parents if they have a business card or
have one in their wallets from a business or
have a friend with a business card or the next
time you go into a business or they go into a
business see if they have a business card or
at home go to Google and then images and type
"business card" then print a business card.
If you give Miss W a business card sometime
this week you will get 5 points extra credit on
the second test. MUST be appropriate for school-
no alcohol, guns or bad words on cards.
MUST BE IN BY Tuesday for this upcoming test
