Step 10- Revise as needed.
Click on the Review tab, and spell check your presentation.

On page 56, type lines 06 and 07.
Remember to use your thumb for the space bar.
We are using our left PINKY finger for the  SHIFT  key.
We are using our right PINKY finger for the  ? Question mark  key

Past Lessons
Step 1- Determine the Purpose of PowerPoint
          Most students picked Educational and some students picked Narrative.
Step 2- Identify the Target Audience
                    Our target audience will be other students so we want to have colorful
                    slides, animation, all of the design ideas we discussed.
                    **** You will need to find a game for your audience to play***
                    type the word "QUIA" and the name of your topic

Step 3- Storyboard the content
                    We researched 8 key facts and storyboarded them as a rough draft.

Step 4-  Create a Design

Step 5-  Edit the Master slide (OPTIONAL)

Step 6-  Enter the Content (notice you enter the words before the pictures)

Step 7-  Add and format graphics (pictures), audio and video  

Step 8- Add Animations and Transitions

Today’s Lesson:
REVIEW 10 STEP EXIT ACTIVITIES #10 AND #11

Step 7- Add Audio
                   
Headset WARNING:
No 2nd chances. Do NOT "play" with headset.
Do not throw, play with microphone, etc.
Look below the computer "on" button
Black Cord will go on top with the head set symbol
Red Cord will go on the bottom with the microphone symbol

Follow along with Miss W to add your audio clip
  1. go to the Slide Show tab
  2. choose Record Slide Show
  3. choose Start Recording from Beginning
  4. make sure both boxes are checked
  5. when you are finished go to File then Save AND Send then choose Create a Video
  6. Open a PowerPoint and save to your lunch number
  7. On the title slide- Go to the Insert tab and then insert video
  8. We have now embedded a video into your PowerPoint

Step 8- Add animations and transitions
Step 9- Practice (review the rubric)
Step 10- Revise as needed (check spelling)
             Have another student check your typing and grammar.

Create a comment on the slide you are most proud of creating.

THE END SLIDE (does not count as part of the 8 slides you need)
  • Add a shape, add a border to the shape and special effect
  • add a section and change the design so it is different from the previous slides
  • You need to use a text direction for “The End”
  • Use Word Art
  • Insert Date/Time

Switch places with another student. You read their PowerPoint for mistakes
and they will read your PowerPoint for mistakes.
Check off items on both of your checklists!

You will now help other students.

When Miss W. tells you to save to Student Docs for presentation.
