Guided Lesson:
@ Miss W will demonstrate PowerPoint techniques.
Independent Exercise:
@ Students will complete an educational slide and an persuasive slide.
Using the Design techniques discussed in the PowerPoint
create a 2 slide presentation. One slide will be educational and
one slide will be persuasive on Enterovirus
USE the concepts we learned like contrasting colors, etc.
Educational (to inform/teach) & Persuasive(to convince/sell) Rubric-
It is worth 50 points
2 points off for spelling mistakes
5 points off for contrast mistakes
2 point off if you don't use proper citation for image
 You are allowed 1 picture the rest of the images are clip art
2 points off if you don’t have words size 24 or larger

@ If time: Complete activities after Miss W. demonstrates the process.

Homework:
Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.
