Guided Practice:

Charades- each group of three will have 3 minutes to come up with a
way to act out one of the people below using spreadsheets.
They can say anything but the name of the person.
For example: They can not say "Look at me, I'm an accountant."
Accountants, Teachers,
Engineers, Sales people,
Scientists, Supermarkets,
Market Researchers.

What if Analysis:
* Open Spreadsheet Vocabulary PowerPoint and go to slide 11 to 12.
* Students will open an new Excel file and type the 4 formulas on the green paper.
* Students will practice What if Analysis by changing the values in B7 and C7.
Independent Exercise:
Car lot exercise-  
1*Students will gather data to create a spreadsheet of dream cars that they would have in their own car lot business.
2*Students will go to http://www.carmax.com and find cars and write the information
(year, make(brand), model(name), miles, and price) on their worksheet.
3*Open the "car lot" file found in the student docs, Witkowski folder, Spreadsheet folder
and save to your lunch number
.

Homework:
Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.
