You can research job openings on websites like Monster.com or through employment agencies (they charge you or the business a fee) or through newspaper classified ads.

   They show job positions but not the employer's name until you pay them.

   While newspapers still list job positions in their papers many also list them online.

1. Students will complete the Interest Assessment at www.careerzone.ny.gov by following the directions in the 6.01 Employability PowerPoint and answer the 6.00 Assess Yourself worksheet questions.  

2. Besides each of the job (occupations) you need to write a SHORT definition of the job. You can use the "TASK" descriptions to help you.

3. In front of each job description: Write P if the occupation deals with People
Write I if the occupation deals with Information
Write T if the occupation deals with Technology
