@ Miss W will explain "What is the difference between an interest, a skill, an ability and an aptitude?"  and give instructions for the two daily assignments.

 Independent Exercise: 

1. Students will complete the Interest Assessment at www.careerzone.ny.gov by following the directions in the 6.01 Employability PowerPoint and answer the 6.00 Assess Yourself worksheet questions.  

2. Besides each of the job (occupations) you need to write a SHORT definition of the job. You can use the "TASK" descriptions to help you.

3. In front of each job description: Write P if the occupation deals with People
Write I if the occupation deals with Information
Write T if the occupation deals with Technology

What are two negative or bad things that millennials do during a job interview?
If you do not finish this worksheet during class, it will be homework.

1.Open a New PowerPoint, call it skills and save it.
2.On
ONE slide list and complete the following sentences.
