Open Car lot file and open your green file

Sorting
Make sure you have chosen a "Format as Table" style.
Click on the sort arrow by the price.
We are going to sort the most expensive car.
We are going to sort for the least expensive car.
Click on the sort arrow by the miles.
We are going to sort the car with the most miles.
We are going to sort the car with the least miles.
Adding data bars
Click on the price data.
On the Home tab then go to the Conditional Formatting button then choose data bars then choose a color
Chart creation and formatting
- highlight your car lot data
- Insert a column chart
- click on the chart and the Chart Tools Tab will appear
- insert the chart title "My Car Lot". It will explain the chart's purpose.
- insert axis titles "miles" and "price"
- right click on the legend and choose "select data"
- highlight series 1 then click on edit and change to miles
- highlight series 2 then click on edit and change to price
- click on data labels and click on show
- change chart wall
- change chart floor
- make sure you have gridlines they will make the plot area easier to read.
Write down study guide questions 18 and 19 and write down a, b, c or d for the answers.
Start on the Excel Home Tab Ribbon Sheet Worksheet
