Independent Lesson:
Create your own digital footprint by
1. Listing web sites you visit http://www.kidsmart.org.uk/downloads/digital_footprints.pdf
2. List one way to protect your digital footprint
3. Tape it to your Internet safety picture (do not cover words)
4. If your picture is not up put your footprint in your folder
Depending on time, you will do the following exit activities:
Exit Activity 1: Students will correct their PowerPoint projects.
Exit Activity 2: When your group is finished with your footprints then review your Edmodo answers to the 7 Internet safety questions you answered at the beginning of the unit.
The student, who typed the answers, may click on the "edit" choice and correct any wrong answers.
Exit Activity 3: At the end of this unit students will be able to say
- I will tell my parents, a teacher, or a trusted adult if someone tries to cyberbully me.
- I will never respond to messages that are rude or offensive and I will show the message to my parents, a teacher or a trusted adult.
- I understand that my online actions may have offline consequences
