Guided Lesson:
@ We all created a narrative PowerPoint telling important facts about ourselves. The article you are about to read describes how colleges are now having students create PowerPoints about themselves in addition to submitting other information.
@ Take your time and do your best work. Reread if you need to. You will to the first five steps. Last grade before Thursday's interim reports.
@ Achieve 3000 grading:
On the first attempt:
64 to 55 is a “C” 78100 to 75 is an “A” 100 74 to 65 is a “B” 88 54 to 45 is a “D” 70
@ Complete the Achieve3000 article “The New Power of PowerPoint”
Car lot exercise-
1*Students will gather data to create a spreadsheet of dream cars that they would have in their own car lot business.
2*Students will go to http://www.carmax.com and find cars and write the information (year, make(brand), model(name), miles, and price) on their worksheet.
3* Students will enter information into their car lot file.
If time:

Students need to decide for which ACADEMIC topic
(Typing Posture/Technique, Language Arts, Science,
Social Studies, or Math) they will create a
PowerPoint presentation soon. We will be using the
PowerPoint you create to learn different old and new
features of PowerPoint 2010.
