The article you are about to read describes how colleges are now having students create PowerPoints about themselves in addition to submitting other information. @ Take your time and do your best work. Last grade before Thursday's interim reports. @ Achieve 3000 grading:   On the first attempt: 100 to 75 is an “A”  100  74 to 65 is a “B”      88                       64 to 55 is a “C”       78                       54 to 45 is a “D”       70                          Independent Activity: @ Complete the Achieve3000 article “The New Power of PowerPoint” Car lot exercise-   1*Students will gather data to create a spreadsheet of dream cars that they would have in their own car lot business. 2*Students will go to http://www.carmax.com and find cars and write the information (year, make(brand), model(name), miles, and price) on their worksheet. 3* Students will enter information into their car lot file.
