Learning Goal: Understand Multiple Intelligence Inventory and the Learning Style Inventory
Bell Ringer:
1. Students will get their name tags and worksheets.
2. Students will open their Multiple Intelligences PowerPoint.
3. Students will READ THE WORKSHEET about the 8 Multiple intelligences.
(The 4 students, who are not finished with the pre-test, will work on it now)
4. Students will choose one of the eight intelligences that they think best represents them and place a symbol of it on the title page along with its name; for example if you think your strongest intelligence is logical mathematical you would type that on the title page and then add clip art with math symbols and numbers.
5. Students will choose a background theme for their PowerPoint by going to the Design tab and choosing one of the 50 possible themes.
Miss W will collect signed syllabi, signed AUP forms, and $10.00 business fees while you are doing these bell ringer activities.
Guided exercise:
6. Miss W will have the students practice doing a screen print and cropping of the blog instructions below to a new slide in your PowerPoint.
Independent exercise:
7. Take the Multiple Intelligences Inventory by visiting http://ttc.coe.uga.edu/surveys/and choosing INTELLIGENCE SURVEY..
Remember there are no "right" or "wrong" answers.
Only honest answers will give you the best results.
You will not be graded on your answers only that you participated.
Nobody will see your answers but you.
Miss W will only see that you completed the inventory.
Many educational psychologists agree that most people possess more than one type of intelligence.
This survey will give you an idea of what types of intelligence you might be strongest in.
8. Screen print and crop your results (it looks like a sideways bar graph)(have Miss W or neighbor help you if you are not sure how to do it) and paste them to the last slide.
9. Screen print and crop each of the 8 intelligences' definitions and examples to your PowerPoint.
10. Save your results.
