1. Sign in to http://randolph.edmodo.com/   Your user name is your lunch number and
your password is your birthdayCheck to see if your animation project is on Edmodo and plays!If you are not happy with it, you will have a little bit of time today
to revise and convert it video again.

2. Click on this link http://www.microsoft.com/about/corporatecitizenship/citizenship/giving/programs/up/digitalliteracy/eng/curriculum3.mspx  
Scroll down to the blue bar that says Computer Basics and click on the Launch e-learning link
Pull out your YELLOW worksheet from your folder. Help your neighbor

3. Go to your Zen Works box, click on the Alice program
The Alice button/icon has a girl's face on it. You will need to minimize and click "run"Open your Alice animation file.

4. You need a pencil or pen.

5. If you were absent on Friday finish up your Alice animation.    See rubric under homework section below.

Independent Exercise:     (Last grade before interim- Easy way to get a 100)

A.      Students will “crowdsource” as a class the answers to the yellow Basic Computer  4 page worksheet.

B.       EVERYONE must participate or you do not get the 100.

C.      Communicate on Edmodo.

D.      Divide the questions so at least two to three people are working on a question.

E.        You will find the  answers at http://www.microsoft.com/about/corporatecitizenship/citizenship/giving/programs/up/digitalliteracy/eng/curriculum3.mspx

F.       On Edmodo, under the Crowdsourcing assignment, type out the entire question you were working on, give your answer and type ALL of your names.
Example: Miss W, Jane, and Jim worked on this question.
Q: List how a computer is used in Education and Personal Finance.
A: Training, student records, create assignments.

G.     Copy the answers to your yellow worksheets. REMEMBER: You should always verify answers. Anything on the web could be WRONG.

H.      Ask each other questions on Edmodo. Miss W will be grading your Alice animations.

Homework (if you were absent) finish your Alice Animation if you do not have time today.

Animation Rubric
A. 10 points- storyboard with your name and 6 scenes
B. 20 points- 3d text title and student name (or billboard with title)
and the title moves off of the screen slowly
C. 10 points- characters/animals move
D. 20 points- a specific part is moved (like a hand or leg etc.)
E. 10 points- two methods at once (use the do together purple button)
F. 10 points - there are word bubbles
G. 10 points- the timing is slow enough to read the words
H. 10 points- spelling is correct and grammar is correct
There are no texting symbols.
