(if you do not play video games pair with someone who does)

Individual Activity:
Look at the "job search" engine section at http://www.thesearchenginelist.com/ (if time do printed search engine worksheet)
The sections are in alphabetical order, (look at date of comments 2010 )

Student assignment:
Make a 2 column chart with a 2010 heading and a 2012 heading
Copy and paste "job search" sites from the 2 orange links above.
Highlight the job search sites that appear in BOTH columns

For example: Monster appears at both web sites.

Group Activity: Write or type a three to five sentence paragraph about how do you think the large number of international job search engines will affect you trying to find a job? List at least one positive item and list at least one negative item.
Miss W will show class how to insert screen shots of web sites into a Word  document.
Individual or Group Activity: Search Engine Candy Contest worksheet
Either by yourself or with a partner complete the worksheet. The first couple of students, who finish first, will win candy.

Candy Contest Rules
1. You need a screen print of the search engine
2. You need the URL or web site address you used to find answer
3. You need to write a short sentence with the answer.
