Independent Exercise: Students will take the Appropriate Workplace Behavior Test
Students will start the Business Etiquette Unit
How to Practice Good Etiquette in Your Cubicle
In pairs students will read the assigned link and explain to the class
the Internet Etiquette.
Etiquette in Different Countries
If time students will choose a country to research that country's etiquette at
*Scroll down to Appearance, Behavior and Communications categories
* Choose 3 items from EACH category * Create a 4 slide PowerPoint * Title Slide with Name of Country and Your Names * One Slide for each category with the three facts and pictures (citations) * Use Animations and Transitions
For each of the projects listed below you will need to choose:
3 appropriate workplace behaviors 3 ethical behaviors 3 unethical behaviors 3 benefits of good workplace behavior B. Create a Kahoot game about 12 of the behaviors.
Must use all 12 behaviors.
Spelling must be correct
Questions begin with a capital letter and end with a question mark?
Must have 4 answer choices for each question.
D. Create a student survey about the vocabulary words, have students take survey and graph results
Must use all 12 behaviors.
Spelling must be correct
Spreadsheet must have 12 worksheets, labels and a chart for each of the behaviors.
F. Create a PowerPoint showing famous people displaying 12 of the behaviors.
No copy and paste, it must be in your own words why the picture displays the behavior. Do NOT type just definitions.
Must use all 12 behaviors.
Spelling must be correct
Must have at least one animation and transition per slide
Include a title slide with your name and the title "Work Place Behaviors"
If Internet pictures are used you need to have web site citations.
