Bell-Ringer/Connecting Strategy
1. Go to wclassroom.blogspot.com 2. Complete typing assignment  On page 17, type line 6, practicing the T key use the left index finger

Guided Lesson: @ Miss W will demonstrate how to use the Thesaurus feature. @ Miss W will have students sign into PowerSchool @ Students will open 2 Formatting and Editing Skills PowerPoint Independent Exercise @ Students will use the Thesaurus feature to complete the Name exercise. @ Students will update their Blue Data Sheets.  @ Students will review Word Processing terms if time @ Students will learn:      * the difference between portrait and landscape                    *portrait- the page orientation in which height of page is greater than width                    *landscape- page orientation in which width of page is greater than height       * the difference between cut/copy/paste                    *cut-  removes text or graphics from the current location                    *copy- copied to another location                    *paste- places text/graphics that have been cut/copied to new location      * clipboard- the temporary storage location for text/graphics that have been cut/copied           * double space- the when 1 line is left between lines of text, hit enter key twice      * font - a specific design for a collection of letters, numbers, and symbols Independent Exercise @ Students will practice new word formatting skills  @ If time: Students will hang their thesaurus assignment on the wall.
