Literacy/Vocabulary Strategies (Word Wall)
Etiquette is the set of rules, forms, practices
established for behavior in a polite society
or in official or professional life. 
  



Bell-Ringer/Connecting Strategy
      
1.  Go to wclassroom.blogspot.com 

2.  Open 5.01 Business Etiquette and go to slide 25

 Have  a pen or pencil

Independent Exercise:

Students will choose a country to research that country's etiquette at

*Scroll down to Appearance, Behavior and Communications categories
* Choose 3 items from EACH category
* Create a 10 slide PowerPoint
* Title Slide with Name of Country and Your Names
* 3 Slides for each category with the three facts and pictures (citations)
* Use Animations and Transitions
     Spelling must be correct

Part 2 is the presentation of your information

Add 2 slides with images/citations that match your presentation

At the bottom of your country page, go to the link that says "Fact Book"
and find interesting information on your country




-  Choose 6 careers from the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math page.
-  Fill in your worksheet for the following categories:
Occupation
Minimum
Education
Growth
Outlook
Current
Workers
Salary
Entry
Job Description
  You only need to write the first sentence in the job description blank.
  -  Choose one of the 6 careers and create a PowerPoint.
  # The first slide should have your name and occupation and a picture with a citation.
  #  Look at the ENTIRE job description. Have one or more slide for each sentence.
      You may copy and paste job description sentences.
  #  You need at least 10 slides not counting the title page.
  #  Find interesting pictures about that occupation and have one picture per slide with
      the proper citations.
  #  Save
