    One looks like a person
    One is the worksheet with the parts of the letter
    See crate for samples of what they look for

4. Get out your social studies or science 8 fact sheet.

Guided Lesson:

@ Miss W will review test instructions

@ Students are able to use the 2 study guides they made on the test

@ Work on incomplete work after the test



Independent:

Students will take parts of the letter test.

Students will practice putting reading passages in their own words.



Students will WRITE down 8 IMPORTANT facts about a Science or Social Studies topic.

Independent Exercise: Educational/Informative PowerPoint Project
          Students will be creating a powerpoint with an educational purpose.
Step 2- Identify the Target Audience
                    Our target audience will be other students so we want to have colorful
                    slides, animation, all of the design ideas we discussed.
                    **** You will need to find a game for your audience to play***
                    type the word "QUIA" and the name of your topic
Step 3- Storyboard the content
                    We will research 8 key facts and storyboarded them as a rough draft.
@Miss W. will explain how to storyboard
@DRAWING will not count.
                    You can draw stick people and label them.

Step 4- Select a Design
Step 5-  Edit the Master slide (OPTIONAL)


If absent on Tuesday:
@ Students will complete an educational slide and an persuasive slide.
Using the Design techniques discussed in the PowerPoint
create a 2 slide presentation. One slide will be educational and
one slide will be persuasive on Enterovirus
USE the concepts we learned like contrasting colors, etc.
Educational (to inform/teach) & Persuasive(to convince/sell)
Rubric-
It is worth 100 points
20 points for correct educational slide
20 points for correct persuasive slide
20 points off for spelling mistakes
10 points off for contrast mistakes
10 point off if you don't use proper citation for image
 You are allowed 1 picture the rest of the images are clip art
20 points off if you don’t have words size 24 or larger
