Guided Exercise:
Miss W will review different characteristics of Leadership and have students take a leadership survey at http://psychology.about.com/library/quiz/bl-leadershipquiz.htm

Independent Lesson:
After taking the Leadership survey students will complete the following Leadership exercises:
1. Write down the survey results
2. Read pages 156 and 157
3. Answer the question on your worksheet "Explain how you could use 2 of the leadership traits to be a leader at school." Write at least 3 sentences.
4. Read pages 158 to 162
5. Answer the questions on page 162 (there is a BOX on your worksheet for answers)
6. Research a person you think is a great leader.
Write one sentence about what your leader did.
Using the table in the Leadership article as a guide write or type a paragraph using at least 4 out of the 12 characteristics about your person.
Explain why they fit each of the 4 characteristics you have chosen.
7. You will give a short oral presentation about your leader. Make sure you include an introduction sentence about your leader.
