Monday, April 28th- 8th Grade- Databases- Lookup data type and zip code input mask

Bellringer:
1. On page 420 type the top paragraph
that begins "For a search in a random database..."

2. Open and complete your Queries Prework PowerPoint.
3. Complete any missing work on the board:
   Go to achieve 3000. Go to your mailbox.
Click to view the article A Critter Count. Students will read carefully.
The first attempt at the activity questions will be a daily grade. .
4. Finish the database vocabulary CrossWord puzzle.

1. When the animal database "offers you choices" to click on such as bats, bears, butterflies what type of data type is it? (Not text) 
2. When you click and find the definition of the animal, what data type is the definition?
   (Not text)

@ Open Steps to Create a Database powerpoint.
@ Review ascending and descending order by writing examples on worksheet.
     Ascending is A to Z order or small numbers to larger numbers.
     Descending is Z to A order or large numbers to small numbers.

Independent Exercise: 
@ Students will create a database with a lookup data type and a zip code input mask.@ Students will carefully complete pages 48 and 49. If you make a mistake, you will need
     to write the entire question and correct answer.
