@ Miss W will explain "What is the difference between an interest, a skill, an ability and an aptitude?"  and give instructions for the two daily assignments.

 Independent Exercise: 

1. Students will complete the Interest Assessment at   www.careerzone.ny.gov by following the directions in the 6.01 Employability PowerPoint and answer the 6.00 Assess Yourself worksheet questions.  

2. Besides each of the job (occupations) you need to write a SHORT definition of the job.You can use the "TASK" descriptions to help you. 

3. In front of each job description:  (it may fall into more than one category)
Write P if the occupation deals with People
Write I if the occupation deals with Information
Write T if the occupation deals with Technology
