Announcements:
Bring a picture file in. You may email it to yourself and then open your email in class TO SAVE the picture to your lunch number. If you do not have a scanned picture bring a picture in and you can scan it at school. Remember it needs to be a business appropriate picture, with proper dress and just you.

Bellringer:
1. EVERYONE will correct their CFA2 papers by checking with your neighbors to see if they understood the question and was correct. The purpose is for you to help each other understand the questions.

Guided Exercise:
Miss W will explain Tuesday's Library assignment. You will choose a book(s) or magazine(s) and read about your career interests. You will then write a career report on what you have read. It will include the following items:
a. Your name
b. Your career interest (can be a job or a topic that is important to the job)
For example if you want to be a mechanic the article can be about mechanics or about
problems mechanics have with a certain type of car.
c. Name(s) of book(s) or magazines(s)
d. Author(s) of the article
e. What is the article about?
f. What information will you remember and why? (What is interesting?)
g. What career cluster and pathway is your career item?
h. It needs to be one hand written page. It can be one page about one topic.
Or it can be half a page about one topic and half a page about a different topic

Independent Lesson:

2. Work in groups of 2 Students each of you complete the Career Cluster Worksheet (the 16 clusters and the multiple choice questions- find the answers on the 4.01 PowerPoint) using http://www.nc-net.info/NC_career_clusters_guide.php and http://www.dpi.state.nc.us/docs/cte/standards/careerclusters2012.pdf

3.Once you have the correct answers, start the CFA2 Study Guide by typing out the questions and answers of the questions you missed along with an appropriate clip art picture. Depending on time you may also be correcting the vocabulary test questions. Let Miss W know when you are finished. She will be checking people's brochures and helping with their Linkedin summaries as you are working.
