Work in groups of 2 Students each of you complete the Career Cluster Worksheet using http://www.nc-net.info/NC_career_clusters_guide.php and http://www.dpi.state.nc.us/docs/cte/standards/careerclusters2012.pdf

2nd block tiger time today. Linkedin headlines and summaries need to be CORRECTLY completed, the college/major brochure needs to be CORRECTLY completed and the today's study guides need to be finished.

Bring a picture file in. You may email it to yourself and then open your email in class TO SAVE the picture to your lunch number. If you do not have a scanned picture bring a picture in and you can scan it at school. Remember it needs to be a business appropriate picture, with proper dress and just you.

Bellringer:
1. EVERYONE will correct their CFA2 papers by checking with your neighbors to see if they understood the question and was correct. The purpose is for you to help each other understand the questions.

2.Once you have the correct answers, start the CFA2 Study Guide by typing out the questions and answers of the questions you missed along with an appropriate clip art picture. Depending on time you may also be correcting the vocabulary test questions. Let Miss W know when you are finished. She will be checking people's brochures and helping with their Linkedin summaries as you are working.

After you finish the study guide complete any missing work:

3.Everyone will pull up their TYPED Linked in headlines and summary. On a single sheet of page make 3 copies. We will be printing the headlines/summaries and cutting them. We will then pass our paper to another student and you will take their paper. You are going to read them and OFFER CONSTRUCTIVE SUGGESTIONS. Once you have three set of suggestions it is up to you if you want to use them. Once you revise your linked in headlines/summaries and have used the spell check and grammar check you will print them.

4. Finish your college/major brochure.
1. Your First Name
2. The School you wish to attend
3. The Major or Career you wish to have and what classes you need to take
4. How much the application fee is and when is the deadline for the application?
5. How much it will cost at the college for one year?
6. You must be creative- it must look nice and professional
7. All pictures must have citations
8. NO spelling or grammar mistakes
9. ALL information MUST be correct- no guessing, research the answers.
