Monday, February 10th- 8th Grade- Publisher- Understanding the 6 Design Principles

Bellringer:
1. Open your Typing file and on page 12 type lines 8, 9, and 10.    
   
    Use your left INDEX finger for the R exercise.
   

2. If you were late or absent yesterday, see the board, finish
any missing work.
3. If you did not complete the end of unit Achieve 3000 article.

Independent Exercise- Understanding Design Principles

1. Go to Computer/ Student Docs/ Witkowski folder/
Publisher folder/ Design Principles PowerPoint
2. For Slides 46 through 48. You may work in teams.

lThe following questions will be on the test. 
l
Write the number of the question, the red words in the question

and then look through the Design PowerPoint to find which Design principle
(balance, proximity/unity, alignment, repetition/consistency, contrast
or white space)
 is described.
lFor example, you would write:
l1. the location, date, time, and cost are centered
.

And then the answer to this question is found on slide 21.
You would write that design principle.


Homework- Extra Credit for 2nd test:
Ask your parents if they have a business card or
have one in their wallets from a business or
have a friend with a business card or the next
time you go into a business or they go into a
business see if they have a business card or
at home go to Google and then images and 
type "business card" then print a business card.
If you give Miss W a business card sometime
this week you will get 5 points extra credit on

the second test. MUST be appropriate for school-
no alcohol, guns or bad words on cards.
