Tuesday, February 25- 7th Grade- PowerPoint Steps 5 through 8

Bellringer:
1. Open your Typing file and on page 18 type lines 12, 13, and 14.           
Use your left MIDDLE finger for the C exercise

2. Get out your Pink Worksheet and your GREEN rubric.

Guided Lesson:
Past Lessons
Step 1- Determine the Purpose of PowerPoint
            Most students picked Educational and some students picked Narrative.
Step 2- Identify the Target Audience
            Our target audience will be other students so we want to have colorful
            slides, animation, all of the design ideas we discussed.
            **** You will need to find a game for your audience to play***

             type the word "QUIA" and the name of your topic 
Step 3- Storyboard the content
            We researched 8 key facts and storyboarded them as a rough draft.
Step 4-  Create a Design
Step 5-  Edit the Master slide (OPTIONAL)
Step 6-  Enter the Content (notice you enter the words before the pictures)

**** You will need to find a game for your audience to play***
             type the word "QUIA" and the name of your topic
Step 7-  Add and format graphics (pictures), audio and video      
              Remember to use the PINK PICTURE TOOLBAR
              to add a frame style and effects
              You need citations for pictures from the Internet.
              You don't want to spend all of your time looking for 1 picture!!!!

Thursday's Lesson
Step 8- Add animations and transitions
Step 9- Practice (review the rubric)
Step 10- Revise (check spelling)
Working in Teams students will FIND THE EVIDENCE for their answers to the 4 Presentation Procedures Revised PowerPoint questions 24 through 28.
 
Independent Exercise:
