Guided Lesson:

Understand the SMART Process as a component of goal setting.
˜
Specific (concrete terms/exact)
˜ Measurable (repetitions, time, etc.)
˜ Attainable (something to work toward)
˜ Revisited (check your progress)
˜ Time (how long)

Independent Exercise:
1. Students will complete one of the Smart Process worksheet sections and turn in to Miss W.
2. While she is reviewing it, (to make sure you understand the SMART concept)
you will cut out pictures or words for your Career and Educational goal poster.
3. The Goal pictures or words will help you visualize your goal and help motivate you to reach it.
4. We are NOT gluing pictures today!!!!! Just finding them. Put them in your plastic bag.
5. When Miss W meets with you and gives you feedback about your example you need to complete the other SMART goals on the worksheet.
6. We will be working on the Goal poster on Friday to finish Unit 5.
