Friday, Jan 11- Entering data into your database

Bell Ringer Activity:
1. Open your typing file and go to page 236.
2. Type the title Bibliography and center it and make it bold.
Type the third and fourth sourcess that start with Goertzen, Valerie
and "Star-Spangled Banner." Use the the hanging indent format.
Complete any missing work.
3. Pull your airline data sheet out of the folder

Complete any missing vacation data.Go to
http://www.expedia.com/
All 8 vacation spots should be completed.

Pull out your Database vocabulary work sheet from the folder.
The data type definitions at the bottom of the page need to be completed.

STOP! and check the top of your worksheet.
There was some confusion about directions.
You need to look at the picture on the worksheet.
Slide 21 was to give you help with the terms
records, fields and entries.

Independent Exercise:
A. How to do the hanging indent format for a bibliography.1. Highlight the text to be formatted.
2. On the Home Ribbon, to the right of the word "Paragraph" there is a tiny faint arrow click this arrow and a new formatting window will appear.
3. Beneath the Indentation heading, set the "Special" field to "Hanging" and set the "By" field to "0.5."
4. Click OK


B. Students will review their typing project

C. Students will enter their vacation data into their database.
