Monday, Jan 7- Parts of a Database

Bell Ringer Activity:1. Open your typing file and go to page 235.
2. Above the song paragraph
type the top 3 lines on page 235 starting with
then Key, Skinner and Beanes.

3. Pull your airline data sheet out of the folder
and get a pencil.
4. Complete any missing vacation data from Friday.

Digital Literacy Test on Wednesday, January 9th

Guided Lesson:
Miss W will demonstrate how to insert page numbers and/or custom margins if the class did not finish last week.Use Database Fundamentals PP Slide 18 to write the Data Type Descriptions for Text, Number, Date/Time, Currency and Yes/No fields on your worksheet.  If you need more paper get a piece of scrap paper from your folder.

Class will practice identifying records, fields, and entries.

Independent Activity: Go to http://www.expedia.com/ Students will finish getting travel information for vacation locations and write the information on the airline database worksheet.
